Weekend Update

This weekend we celebrated daddy's birthday. We all went out to dinner. Natalie wore her fuzzy vest. Doesn't she look like a big girl?
Then we went up to Pine City. Natalie and daddy hung out in the pool for a bit. She is such a good swimmer! She was floating on her back all by herself! Then on Saturday we celebrated Mandy's 21st birthday. Happy Birthday Mandy! We're glad we got to "party" with you!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is my dad's birthday! Since he took me in almost two years ago, he has been the best caregiver ever! I am so happy that I get to spend my days at home with my dad and Natalie. It has been so fun this past year. Thank you for being such a caring person and a great dad! I love you and wish you a terrific birthday!!

Vikings Cheerleader

Touchdown! Natalie was practicing her cheerleader skills before the Vikings game. Even though the team is not very good this year, we all still have a good time.

I love getting attention!
Natalie fell asleep before the game was over. I guess she had too much excitement.

The Big Day

The first thing Natalie got to do on her birthday was open presents from mommy and daddy. She wasn't so sure how it all worked. She got the hang of it though. Her reaction to the "Little Mermaid". We know she will enjoy it for years and years! Here I am trying to play with some of the fantastic paper! Natalie is seeing her Elmo phone for the first time.
I think she likes the song it plays...la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la, Elmo's World!
The cake at the big bash later in the day.
The cake that granny and auntie Em made. It is so fancy!
Natalie wasn't sure what she was supposed to be doing. She liked the candy ribbons.
Then she dug into her cake a little bit. Just enough to make a classic one year birthday cake picture.

Here she is playing in the balloons the next day.
Can you see her?
Wait,I think that's her head.
There she is!

I'm so glad you had a great birthday, Noodles!
Love you much!
