Fair Child

A day at the Minnesota State Fair. It was Natalie's first time at the fair. There was so much to do and so much to eat!
It turned out to be a gorgeous day after rain clouds in the morning. Natalie wore her shades.
Looking at some sheep with mommy. Natalie got to see the Miracle of Birth Center where they had baby sheep, cows and pigs.

Her favorite toy: a paper cup! And Don Shelby during his 3 pm broadcast for WCCO. He gave us free cookies!

Swimming at the Anderson's

Daddy and Natalie spent some time in Janice and Gordon's pool. What a great way to cool off! Natalie is so lucky to have godparents like them. Just think of the years to come.

Vegas, Vegas, Vegas

Mom and dad went to Las Vegas with the Lee cousins. There were 9 in all: mommy, daddy, Emilie, Sam, Jason, Liz, Karen, Mike, and Ingrid. It was a good time for all. They all stayed at the Mirage which was fantastic! Everyone went downtown one evening to enjoy the light show. Natalie stayed with auntie Rachele. I stayed at Janice and Gordon's house. It was a fun time for me. I even liked Jazz the dog after a few hours. It's good for all of us to be back home now.

Dakota County Fair

Natalie sure had her fair share of Fairs this month! She recently went to the Dakota County Fair with Granny and Gramps! I don't know who had more fun. Between riding on the Ferris Wheel and Merry Go Round and seeing the farm animals, the day was fantastic. Natalie even ate a little bit of Granny's funnel cake. Gramps wouldn't share his pronto pup though.

Relay Memories

Josh and Bill Eral sporting their balloon hats and special t-shirts. We all wore a picture of Gayle on our shirt with a balloon hat.
Natalie had her very own balloon hat.
Mommy and Natalie.
Natalie got a Relay for Life t-shirt of her very own. It was a little big on her but so cute!
Grandpa Jerry walking the survivor lap.

We did it! The Relay for Life on Friday night went really well for us first-timers. We were really prepared thanks to Emilie. She did a wonderful job as our captain. She spent countless hours going to meetings and informing us on what we had to do. She brought many supplies for the walk. Thanks for the fans and the plants, Emilie! Now that we have done this event, we have thought of many ways to improve for next year. Thanks to all of you for your support!

Pine County Fair

The Pine County Fair was last weekend. Natalie got to ride on the merry-go-round for the first time. She didn't seem to like it so much. She was probably tired. Daddy seems to be having a good time in this picture.
Natalie liked looking at the horses with mommy.
Natalie played the duck game. She wanted to keep the ducks though.
So she won a pretty purple unicorn for playing the duck game.
Grandpa is showing her the cow. Look at how close the cow is to Natalie!
Here's Grandpa's tractor--a John Deere--what else??
Natalie on the ATV. It's a pink one!

Parade

The Pine City parade was on Saturday. It was a gorgeous day for a parade. We had great seats and a lot of family around us. Natalie ended up with a big bag of candy that mommy is trying not to eat! Even our South St Paul friends: Christine, Chuck, Ruby and Walton came to sit by us! Mommy and Christine are high school buddies. Everyone was back in town to share the fun!

Happy Golden Birthday Brody!

Brody's 2nd birthday was on August 2nd. He had a train theme for his party. He received many cool things such as a fire engine and a basketball hoop. He is also getting a swing set/playground thing for outside.

The kids got to wear conductors hats and there were train items in their goodie bags. Natalie even wore her hat for more than a second! Happy birthday Brody! We can't believe it's been 2 years already!
