HAVE YOU SEEN THIS WOMAN?

Last Saturday, mommy, daddy and Natalie went to the Reynolds to see John Rankin and his sister Pat. The Rankin kids, all five of them, grew up kitty-corner from my granny and gramps. They used to hang out a lot with gramps before he married granny in 1974. Above, John demonstrates how granny looked when she was in the audience of a taping of Good Company, a local talk show on channel 5. John also recreated his 5 minutes of fame as the Twin Cities cleanest person. Back in the 1980s, John was featured on Good Company. A crew came to the Rankin house and John showed viewers what it takes to clean a house from top to bottom. Everytime the Rankins come over, you are assured to laugh and remember the good times in daddy's old neighborhood.

Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Visits

This is the time to visit with all of our friends and family. Mommy, Daddy, and Natalie went to visit great great aunt Madeline on Saturday. They ate dinner at Madeline's apartment and had a fun time.

Natalie is watching tv at Madeline's. She has been amazed by the tv for the past couple weeks. Look at her pretty Christmas outfit
On Sunday Natalie had visitors over to our house. Janice and Gordon, Natalie's godparents, came over with presents. Natalie got several outfits, including a pink Vikings cheerleader dress, and a piggy bank with her name on it.
Wow! Thanks Janice and Gordon. You are so good to my little sis.
I had a good time on Sunday too. My favorite pals Emilie and Sam came over too. Sam always plays with me and lets me sit by him. Thanks for all the attention!

Happy Holidays!

Many things have been going on lately. My family has taken lots of pictures to show for it. Mommy and daddy had a party for some friends last Friday night. Here's Natalie being held by Dong. He was so good with her. Mommy, Dong, and Jen have known each other for over 10 years. It's nice that they can get together over the holidays.
There was a cookie exchange at Rachele's house this year. Here's Natalie with her great aunt Sue. Mommy got about 10 dozen cookies out of the deal. Yum!!
Daddy went to the Wild hockey game on Thursday night. Marian Gaborik scored five goals. What a night!! The Wild won 6-3. Here's Gabby holding up his stick when he was named "first star" of the game.
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas!! Life has been so good to me.

Hanging out with Natalie

Natalie and I hang out a lot! We are super great friends. I still get a little freaked out when she cries. Most of the time we're both taking little cat naps. Hope you enjoy all the pictures of my little sister. She has some funny expressions on her face at times.

Go Vikings!!

Daddy and Natalie like to watch football together. I hear that the Vikings are starting to do better and win some games. On Sunday I'm going to hang out with the family and cheer for the purple and gold.
Love,
Tan-Tan

Oh Christmas Tree

This is my first Christmas in my new home. I already like the idea of this "Christmas" thing. There are presents with lots of ribbon to play with. I also love to sit under the tree. The lights and ornaments are so intriguing, it takes all my will to stop from batting at them.

Natalie's First Snow Day

This past weekend, Natalie got her first taste of being a true Minnesotan. Since Saturday we have gotten over eight inches of snow. On Sunday, daddy went and bought our little girl her first sled. At halftime of the Vikings win over Detroit, daddy pulled Natalie and mommy through Janice and Gordon's yard. Natalie seemed to like it.

Bathing Beauty

Natalie loves to take a bath, especially with mommy. Sometimes mommy lets me come near the tub when Natalie is bathing. I love looking at the water but I don't like it when it gets on my paws!! Above is a picture of my little sister getting her hair washed. The last two are from her first photo shoot. She was a good little model that day and got some amazing shots. I'll add more in the future.
