Little Baby Reynolds is still in mommy's tum-tum. However, Dr. Woo told her that she will be induced on Wednesday, September 26 if the baby doesn't cooperate before then. So by this time next week, I'll have a new playmate at home. I hope she doesn't mind, but I have been playing with one of her green socks. In fact, it's my favorite toy and I may have ripped it a little. I owe her one. That's all I know. Mommy and Daddy wait patiently, and I just look out the window enjoying the fall weather.

Friday Football Picks
No baby yet. So its time to pick some football games.
College:
Penn State at Michigan
The Lions are just too polished to lose at the Big House. Close, but a 31-27 Lion win.
Iowa at Wisconsin
The Hawks lost a shocker in Ames last week. This week they play a team that is way better. Badgers in a rout 44-17.
Purdue at Minnesota
The Gophers are one of the worst major college teams and Purdue is out to make a name for itself. Purdue wins 34-18
NFL:
Chargers at Packers
The undefeated Packers will look for a third win, but the AFC's strength will show in the Bolts 34-23 win.
Colts at Texans:
Call me a silly kitty, but the Texans may be for real. They win a shocker 27-24.
Vikings at Chiefs:
The vikes are bruised, the Chiefs are hungry for a win. Chiefs 31-13.
High School:
Daddy's alma mater, South St. Paul celebrates homecoming with a win over a another winless squad in Hill-Murray. Packers get in the win column 27-21

How I came to live here
Maybe some of you don't know, but I was adopted a couple times in my life. About a year ago I was rescued from the Humane Society by my previous owners. Then they found out that I was not allowed to live in their condo. So they asked the Reynolds if they would foster me. You see, my daddy has allergies to cats so it didn't seem like a good idea. Well, 9 months later and daddy is doing just fine with me in the house. I am officially adopted again and hope to remain here forever! I really like my new home and I am so glad it all worked out. Yesterday daddy was asking mommy if they should find another kitten to adopt so I would have a playmate. Mommy loves that idea but wants to wait until the new baby is adjusted before adding even more family members. For now I can't wait until that new baby comes. It will be very interesting at our house.

Football Picks
Each Friday, me, Tanner The Cat, will give you some of the best, most reliable football picks. Of course I like most of the teams named after cats, but you just can never tell who I might pick.
Here are my picks. Enjoy!
College:
Michigan 31 Notre Dame 27
It's gonna be ugly but Big Blue gets it done at home.
USC 28 Nebraska 20
The host Huskers will play tough but can't overcome the talented Trojans
Minnesota 44 Florida Atlantic 14
Heat or no heat the Gophers are this much better than the home team in Miami.
UPSET SPECIAL:
Tennessee 31 Florida 29
The defending champs get beat on a last minute field goal.
NFL:
Packers 27 Giants 14
Favre and company beat the Giants who will miss Eli Manning.
Bears 35 Chiefs 17
KC is weak and the Bears need a win.
Lions 16 Vikings 14
Lion kicker Jason Hanson hits a last minute kick to propel the "Motor City Kitties" to the win.
UPSET SPECIAL:
Tennessee 37 Indianapolis 31
The Colts will fall to the pesky Titans in a shocker.
High School:
My hometown team South St. Paul will lose 41 to 12 to a good St. Thomas team tonight. Daddy is calling it for local cable unless mommy goes into something called labor.

More stuff that's not for me
Today mommy had another shower. This time it was a work potluck. She came home with many nice things. Her coworkers must be very generous!! Sometimes it's hard because I wish I was getting new toys. I know that things are really going to change around here but I know mommy and daddy love me enough so they won't forget about me. I wonder what this new little baby will be like? Will she be able to play with me? I hope we get to spend lots of time together. Well, that's all from me today.

Just Waiting
Everything seems to be going really well in the preparation for the baby. I know that mommy and daddy have had several baby showers and have everything they need. They are very lucky to have so many people that love them!! Mommy has said that she is so glad her work is so flexible. She is all prepared to leave at any time. Her boss is great and her replacement for the 12 weeks is all trained in. I noticed that she has packed a suitcase--something I love to play in! She has all kinds of lists too. My mom sure is organized! I wonder where mommy and daddy could be going? They usually take out the suitcase when they are going on vacation. Hmm....

It's green, it's comfortable and it isn't for me
I helped mommy in the nursery but I got tired and had to take a snooze.
Earlier this year Shanna and Blair got to work on painting the spare bedroom of my house in a nice sage green color. Then they took out the bed, added a crib, changing table and a dresser. Soon after that came stuffed animals, bedding and other assorted accessories. This can only mean one thing. The newest addition to our family is soon to be here!

Meow Means Hello!
Hi-
I'm Tanner. The king of Blair and Shanna's castle. I'm a cool kitty. A little over a year old and curious as they come. My parents take good care of me. I like to explore, eat, be petted and eat some more.
Lately, I've noticed that my mommy and daddy are getting very excited. They painted a room, added some unique and comfy new furniture, and keep telling me something called a baby is on its way. I don't know what that means, but I am sure it's a good thing. I've enjoyed sleeping in the things called a crib, pack-n-play and changing table. My life is about to change, as is mommy and daddy's. We just can't wait to see our new edition. Stay tuned for more info from me, the kitty with the 411 on the life of the Reynolds Family.
